Laxmi group for the welfare of sports has setup Laxmi Sport’s and Event Management with a note of giving back to the hometown of the owners has tied up with the first ever Franchise Football League, “Nepal Super League”. Laxmi Sports and Event Management now owns a franchise named “Pokhara Thunders” and have carried along their legacy in the form of Exploring and Learning. Nepal Super League is the first ever franchise football tournament in the country which is set to be held from April 24 to May 8. The tournament is being organized under the technical support of ANFA and will be played in round robin format at Dasharath Stadium.
In the years since it was first introduced, Laxmi Group has gained access into a multitude of industries in the country, thus becoming a part of the Nepali lifestyle. Laxmi Group with the legacy of over 48 years and twenty companies has sectoral presence over sectors such as manufacturing, agro-based dairy industry, trading, hospital and with the purchase of Pokhara Thunder have added a new vertical of Sports in their diverse portfolio.
